Gerson Penha brings 18 years of experience developing corporate and digital communications programs for global brands such as Facebook, McDonald's, Diageo and Walmart.

Prior to joining JeffreyGroup, Gerson founded and managed the digital practice at Brazil's largest domestic communications agency. He was also a journalist for O Estado de S. Paulo, the largest daily newspaper, and Veja, the largest magazine in Brazil. Gerson regularly speaks to professional communicator groups in Latin America on topics ranging from new media strategies to managing corporate crises in the social media age. He graduated with a degree in communications from the Universidade de São Paulo.
