Airbus Expands Latin America Communications with JeffreyGroup

July 13, 2017, MIAMI, FL – Following an organizational and brand restructuring, Airbus has consolidated its strategic communications work across Latin America with JeffreyGroup.  The Latin America specialist agency has been the Agency of Record for the Airbus commercial aircraft business for nearly 10 years and will now expand its scope of work to include the Airbus Defence and Space and Helicopters divisions, putting all three of the company’s main business lines under the same communications agency.

JeffreyGroup has supported Airbus’ commercial aircraft activity in Latin America since 2008, during a time of unprecedented growth for Airbus in the region. In the past 10 years, the global leader in aeronautics has tripled its in-service fleet in Latin America, where almost 650 Airbus commercial aircraft are currently in operation. Since 1990, Airbus has secured more than 60 percent of net orders in the region, where it currently carries a backlog of nearly 450 aircraft.

The move to consolidate Airbus commercial aircraft, Defence and Space and Helicopters under one agency umbrella comes on the heels of the company’s efforts, announced last year, to simplify its brand and integrate its corporate structure.
