Walt Disney World Taps JeffreyGroup To Handle PR In Brazil

The wide-ranging remit focuses on the 40-square mile property that includes Disney’s four Florida theme parks.

ORLANDO — Walt Disney World Resort, which includes Disney’s four Orlando-area theme parks, has handed JeffreyGroup its PR business in Brazil.

As the resort’s Brazil agency of record, JeffreyGroup has a range of responsibilities for the expansive entertainment destination. The agency will handle strategic communications, media relations and influencer and celebrity engagement. The firm also is responsible for promotions, broadcast integrations and organizing trips to the property for members of the travel industry.

JeffreyGroup won the business in a competitive pitch. FSB Comunicação was the incumbent agency.

Walt Disney World Resort spans nearly 40-square miles outside Orlando, housing Disney’s Florida properties including its famed theme parks — Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The development also includes 30 resort hotels, four golf courses, a wedding pavilion and a shopping and dining district.
