Bringing Discovery Networks Home in Latin America
JeffreyGroup worked with Discovery Networks in Latin America for more than 12 years beginning with the initial launch of the flagship Discovery Channel Latin America in 1994. After solidifying the network’s brand presence among viewers with a series of highly promoted, highly rated programs throughout the region in 1994, new and intense media efforts began in May 2000 to prepare for the launch of two new networks: Discovery Health and Discovery Travel & Adventure. JeffreyGroup organized a series of successful events in key markets, including Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, Colombia and Brazil. Positive buzz reinforced Discovery’s positioning in the region as the leader in real-world television programming and continues to generate high interest from media in the region.
