Council of the Americas (COA) is pleased to extend its partnership with JeffreyGroup, which will provide public relations support for a second year as COA continues to drive conversations and showcase excellence in Latin America’s business community.

Building on the success of last year’s partnership, COA has appointed JeffreyGroup as its strategic communications consultant and public relations agency for the 2023 COA Symposium & 28th BRAVO Business Awards, scheduled for October 20, 2023 in Miami. The event will be held at the University of Miami’s Lakeside Village.

The COA Symposium and BRAVO Business Awards is the premier business engagement and dialogue platform in Latin America, offering an unparalleled space for industry and social leaders to meet and discuss the most critical issues facing the region. This year’s symposium will cover emerging topics such as the region’s digital payments revolution, the corporate sector as a driver for climate action, and the rise of artificial intelligence as a catalyst for business transformation.

The conference will bring together an exclusive community of individuals shaping Latin America’s business agenda, including CEOs, entrepreneurs, and social impact leaders, as well as public-sector figures and innovators. Following the symposium, the BRAVO Business Awards will recognize forward-thinking leaders and outstanding organizations that create a positive impact across the region. This year’s awards ceremony will be held at the Perez Art Museum Miami after the symposium.

“Collaboration is central to the success of our partnership with JeffreyGroup,” said Maria Lourdes Teran, vice president at AS/COA Miami. “JeffreyGroup’s pan-regional network and experience with global brands are invaluable as we work together to foster a community of changemakers across industries and governments in the Americas.”

In October 2022, COA appointed to JeffreyGroup to support the 27th COA Symposium and BRAVO Business Awards, which featured a range of pressing topics – from Latin America’s tech ecosystem to the future of the region’s sustainability agenda – and recognized four business leaders for their exemplary contributions. This year, COA aims to further boost awareness of its in-person events, leveraging the growing popularity of high-impact forums among the business community.

“COA has served as a focal point for dialogue and a catalyst for social and economic advancement across the Americas for nearly six decades,” said Brian Burlingame, JeffreyGroup CEO. “As part of Hill+Knowlton Strategies, we’re involved in global discussions around economic development, sustainability, and innovation, including AI and digital payments, and we’re thrilled to continue our collaboration with COA to foster deeper understanding, development, and support around these vital topics.”

COA will work with JeffreyGroup to create the communications strategy and action plan, develop fresh content, conduct media outreach around 2023 milestones, and provide media support for COA and honorees at the events.
